# Altai Exchange

The **Altai Exchange** operates as a decentralized Web3 marketplace where users can seamlessly trade tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) such as gold, silver, oil, and other commodities.\
By connecting a Web3 wallet directly on [**altai.exchange/trade**](https://altai.exchange/trade), users can buy or sell commodities using **AUSD** (Altai’s stable asset) or **BUSD** with just a few clicks  no intermediaries, no delays.

When a user executes a trade on Altai, the transaction triggers a **real-world hedge position** equivalent to the digital purchase. This ensures that every tokenized asset on the platform is **fully backed by its real-world market value**, maintaining price integrity and stability.

All trades are executed through **smart contracts**, enabling instant settlement, full transparency, and verifiable ownership on-chain. Real-time pricing data is provided by **Pyth Network’s decentralized oracles**, ensuring that the digital commodity prices perfectly mirror global market rates.
